There has to be some reasons as to why the powers that be at WWE are giving him the biggest of big pushes. More often than not, the WWE pick the right man to lead their company forward and since Reigns is their next golden goose, they'll give him every chance to succeed. If we look at recent history, The Miz' WWE Championship reign back in 2010/2011 has proved to be the only major flop of the last 13 or so years, since Hulk Hogan's nostalgic month as champ came to an end. This shows that WWE know who to put the strap on and when to put it on them. And since Roman is seemingly that next man, we should trust their judgement before completely writing it off. Back in the day, when a new champion was crowned, fans would show their displeasure if it was a heel but generally accepted the booking decision. Today's product has allowed fans to air their displeasure. At one point, John Cena was forever preaching to us that his job was to not only wrestle, but to entertain. He'd then ask countless arenas around the world if they had been entertained, allowing them to respond. Putting a certain degree of power in the fans' hands has backfired somewhat on WWE as if the fans don't get what they want, they lash out just like on Sunday in the arena and on Monday with the #CancelWWENetwork.
