When Batista eliminated Roman from last year's Royal Rumble, the entire WWE Universe was up in arms. So why when the WWE has supplied the goods just under a year later are the Universe up in arms again? Is there no pleasing the modern day WWE fan? The main issue with Batista's 2014 Rumble win was another part time guy going over one of the full timers, and current up and comers. This year, that up and comer has another year's experience under his belt and is more ready for the main event of WrestleMania than he ever has been in the past. He went over a guy that is one of the WWE's biggest heels, yet the fans in attendance were chanting for Rusev rather than Roman. Is it now 'cool' to be one of the 'haters' in 2015? The WWE Universe even got to see The Rock, but that couldn't stem the tide of unrest. We all need to give Roman a chance to prove himself. If we all shoot him down before he's spread his wings, we all might as well just tune out and watch another wrestling as every guy that is given a sizeable push will be criticised. Maybe it's because the push Roman is receiving at the moment doesn't seem to be organic. Last year, his record breaking performance in the Rumble was deserved of a win, which would have made perfect sense. This year, after he spent over half his time in the ring seemingly taking a breather in the corner, his win looked manufactured and as if the powers that be saw it as an essential step on his rise to the top. Only time will tell if this is the case, but Roman has a lot of work to do. Believe! Follow me on Twitter @WhatCultureTwed
