10 Reasons WWE Fans Should Boycott WrestleMania 31

4. Sting Will Disappoint

Sting finally debuted on Raw...who cares? This may have been news if it were 1999 and Sting rappelled down into a WWF ring and laid out Triple H with a baseball bat but this is 2015 and things have definitely changed. For starters, Sting will be 56 years old by the time Wrestlemania rolls around so why should anyone expect there to be a great match between him and Triple H? Hunter is no spring chicken himself and can he really be trusted to carry the AARP-eligible WCW legend to a good match without copious amounts of interference and booking tricks? Sting is undoubtedly a legend and deserves all of the praise for an outstanding career but his run in TNA didn't exactly set the world on fire and WWE's target audience has no clue who the guy is. This is the problem with WWE: They want to cater to children through their booking and characters but then they bring in a guy like Sting who hasn't been seen on a legitimate wrestling show since 2001 and expect someone born in 2003 to care about him. They can't have it both ways. For the hardcore fans who want to see Sting, they have to be ready for a massive disappointment. Sting has wrestled with a shirt on for many years for a reason and you can't honestly expect him to move like it's Clash of the Champions 1989 anymore. Triple H is simply booking himself in the position because he wants to wrestle the last WCW holdout. Sting's best WWE opportunity was a few years ago against the Undertaker but that just didn't work out. Sting should have stayed out of WWE rings forever.
