10 Reasons WWE Has Ruined Roman Reigns

1. WWE's Booking Was Far Too Transparent

How easy was it to see that Reigns was the next John Cena in the weeks and months before the 2015 Royal Rumble? This was the moments that fans started to turn. "Oh no not this again," they said... We all know that the best main eventers are those who make it to the top organically. Yes there are those exceptions who are handpicked and shot to the top of the card, but more often than not, it's clear that are outstanding and worthy of being there. Then you have the likes of Roman who was seemingly destined for the top whatever the weather. This became clear in the build up to the 2015 Royal Rumble, despite being nowhere near ready The Big Dog was clearly earmarked to win the match with what played out on television weeks in advance. It was painfully predictable viewing. Everyone could see that there was something missing with Reigns in the build up to the event, but that wasn't stopping Vince McMahon. Thank goodness he had a change of heart in the moments before WrestleMania 31 where he decided Seth Rollins should cash in his Money in the Bank contract. Last summer could have been a true disaster with a champion that simply wasn't ready for the responsibility. Then we have had everything since that has either been meaningless, brilliant in terms of the Bray Wyatt Hell in a Cell match, or a copy of angles that have happened before. There's little doubting that Reigns will get there in the future. He has everything to do so, but just needs to find something that truly works for him.
