Instant demotion in the eyes of the casual fan, at least. Roman Reigns can't stand on his own two feet, he needs The Rock to get him over. Maybe if they called The Rock "Roman Reigns' cousin" this would change. Or maybe they should stop playing the family card altogether! Nevertheless, being The Rock's cousin is all we have on Roman. There's nothing much else to get behind. We know he's a great father to his little girl, we know he's part of arguably the greatest wrestling family there is, but that's it.
