10 Reasons WWE Needs Sting To Debut Before 2014 Ends
9. The Clock Is Ticking On His Ring Career
"You've still got it!" That is a chant that has been heard before in WWE, perhaps most notably with guys like Ricky Steamboat and Goldust. There is just something about seeing an old favorite, a longtime veteran, come back to the ring and completely tear it up. Defying age and ignoring Father Time, Sting has received those chants as well. However, he heard those chants from TNA fans back in 2006; when he was 47. Sting is now 55 and the fact is that Father Time will not be denied for very much longer. He looks to be in good shape, he had some quality matches in TNA and he likely has more left in him for WWE. Those matches need to happen soon. Much of the WWE crowd have probably never seen him work before, they only know him from the Network and DVD collections. They deserve to see him on WWE programming and that means that Sting will eventually have to get started. That moment needs to happen before 2014 ends, as it finally gets Sting on TV and perhaps even sets up something else in the near future. He has to get going eventually.
