10 Reasons WWE Needs Sting To Debut Before 2014 Ends
7. The Main Event Roster Is Very Thin
At one time, WWE's roster featured The Undertaker, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho. Six top guys, six main event Superstars, each one capable of having a five-star match on any given night. The company was fully stocked of main event stars and they not only took down WCW, they did it with style. However, these days the lineup is very thin indeed. WWE has seen CM Punk make his infamous exit and it does not appear he will be returning any time soon. Chris Jericho has left once again, while both Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns are still on the shelf with injury. That essentially leaves only John Cena and Randy Orton to tow the line, followed closely by Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Sting could be the main event answer that both WWE and the fans are looking for. His debut on WWE programming would not have to mean a lengthy run on the main event scene but it would definitely add a much needed star to the mix. Sting is very accustomed to being in the spotlight so stepping into the world of WWE would likely not phase him at all. He is a top guy and Vince McMahon could certainly use another one right now.
