10 Reasons WWE Should Renew Brock Lesnar's Expiring Contract

4. The Chance To Make A New Superstar

While those matches are fresh in your mind, consider this for a moment: Imagine if someone like Roman Reigns or Dean Ambrose were the one who ended Brock's reign of terror and became the WWE heavyweight champion of the world. Whoever did that would be provided instant credibility and be solidified as a main event star for years to come. They would be the person who beat the guy who ended the Undertaker's streak. While Lesnar certainly has a few great years left in him, you have to start building to the future. WWE is running out of Attitude Era stars to bring in to create some buzz for WrestleMania. At some point, you need to create someone under the age of 40 who is going to draw big houses without the help of the Rock, Steve Austin, or Triple H. You do this by using your older stars to create new ones. Brock is seen as an unbeatable monster so the person who does finally beat him is going to be seen as a giant slayer. However, you cannot give the win to someone like John Cena. What good would it do him? Cena is already seen as the number one wrestler in the company, so what would beating Lesnar make him? Super number one superstar? You need to give the win to someone who you can hitch your wagon to moving forward and make that win mean something.
