9. An NXT Championship Defended On A Main Roster Show
NXT Superstars touring with the main roster isn't something entirely new, but Roadblock acted as only the second televised show to feature an NXT title defence on a predominantly WWE card. As enjoyable as the other matches were, seeing the potential future of WWE's tag team division was a breath of fresh air. While Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady are generally known by WWE fans, The Revival are slowly gaining notoriety in NXT which is no easy task for a team without any flashy traits. As big as NXT has grown, it is only viewed by a fraction of WWE fans. New WWE Network subscribers with little NXT knowledge would have likely only heard of The Revival for the first time upon viewing Roadblock despite their lengthy NXT Tag Team Championship reign. While they shouldn't become frequent, NXT titles should continue to be defended sporadically at WWE shows. Lord knows Fastlane might not have sucked so badly if The Revival, Bayley or Finn Balor were competing on the card.
Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
