10 Reasons WWE's Brand Split Doesn’t Need Saving

Still, even though it’s very early days, the Brand Split has already set about creating a number of new stars for the coming months and years.

Admittedly Raw have been the better at this, first of all gifting Finn Balor the WWE Universal Championship just 27 days after his main roster debut. Even after his injury though, they kept up that notion of pushing fresh faces by having Kevin Owens win his first major world title on this past week’s showing of Raw.

Suddenly, two guys who’ve had bags of potential for an awfully long time now have major championship wins under their belt, having finally being given the limelight they deserve.

SmackDown have been doing their part too, albeit it on a rather smaller scale. Apollo Crews was afforded an Intercontinental Championship match at SummerSlam, and even though he lost, that kind of role is head and shoulders above the treatment he was receiving in the pre-Brand Split days.
