10 Reasons WWE Shouldn't Turn Dean Ambrose Heel

4. He Would Be Cheered Regardless Of What He Does

I suppose this is a wider issue in terms of how fans react to anything the perennial babyfaces do in the modern day. Someone like Ambrose - whose character lends itself to those older males who hate the likes of John Cena and Roman Reigns regardless - will be cheered in his role as the top bad guy in the feuds against the golden boys. Turning Ambrose heel would see the younger demographic stop asking their parents for his shirts perhaps, but very little would change in the eyes of the wider WWE Universe. As I've mentioned before, The Lunatic Fringe is a heart throb in the eyes of the ladies while his demeanour and shenanigans in the past have led him to become over with the male and kid demographics, too. Since Dean has been on WWE TV for just shy of three years now, we all know what we're getting with him. And if his tenure with the Shield as a heel is anything to go by, there's not too much that he could do that would be universally hated. It's hard to hate a guy with such a wonderfully dry sense of humour.
