First of all, full credit to Stephen Amell. He surprised many people in his match, selling better than half the roster for Stardust and Wade Barrett's offence, busting out an exciting dive from the top rope, and giving the rub to tag partner Neville. He was the perfect example of how to best utilise a celebrity at a major pay per view. Jon Stewart, on the other hand, was booked very badly. As charismatic and beloved a figure as Stewart is away from the ring, his involvement with SummerSlam was excessive to say the least. The opening promo with Mick Foley can be excused, as can one or two extra segments, but the focus upon him was far too great. The backstage skits revolving around the Lesnar vs Undertaker main event gave a comedic edge to an angle which really didn't need one, even with Paul Heyman there to pick up the pieces slightly. The focus on a celebrity "host" took time away from matches which could have used an extension, such as the tag team championship bout or divas match. Stewart's biggest involvement would come later in the night, but we'll get to that shortly...
