Now that Rusev is no longer in WWE's main event scene, Lana's stock has decreased significantly. WWE had built the Bulgarian Brute to be the monster heel in the company. It's easy to forget that Rusev, with Lana by his side, went over a year and three months undefeated after debuting at the 2014 Royal Rumble match. However, after losing the United States Championship to John Cena at Mania 31, Rusev has gone on to become a B team player in the League of Nations and a bit of a comedy sideshow during a live event. Much like they have done with Lana, WWE have undone all the good work they did with Rusev and just about killed him. Now that Rusev means very little in terms of WWE's roster, does he need a luxury like Lana on his arm? The pair need major surgery to get back to their former glories.
