10 Reasons WWE’s WrestleMania 31 Is Already Doomed

1. Unattainable Expectations

WrestleMania XXX was good. WrestleMania XXX was really good. WrestleMania XXX might have been the best WrestleMania ever. The show featured one of the best Battle Royals ever, a dominating performance from The Shield and the Divas working their hardest to turn heads after the most shocking WrestleMania moment in history. The show ended with Daniel Bryan celebrating winning not one, but two amazing matches to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. How can they follow a show that good? They might not be able to. Whatever WWE put on, it's going to be compared to WrestleMania XXX and it€™s not going to be able to live up to the standard set the previous year. This time last year, the entire wrestling world was brimming with enthusiasm for Daniel Bryan and his struggle with The Authority, which had fans enthused for an event six months away but right now WrestleMania 31 feels so far away. With Vince McMahon seemingly losing his grasp on what makes wrestling popular, and a thinner roster with less star power than usual, it€™s looking increasingly harder for WrestleMania 31 to live up to the previous year€™s effort.
