The Fast & Furious franchise is great fun, and as it's grown more and more popular, so too have the stunts become increasingly insane and over the top. As Hobbs in Fast Five, The Rock was a big part of turning the series' fortunes around. In the WWE, The Rock made catchphrases that must have looked ridiculous on paper into slogans that still adorn t-shirts and are a recognised staple of pop culture. In the acting world meanwhile, The Rock has also been successful in taking what would be considered "cheesy" or "silly" dialogue in the mouths of some, and turning it into something great. Take Furious 7 for example. "Woman, I am the Cavalry!" has probably been quoted millions of times since The Rock uttered it, while the scene which saw him bust out of a cast and tell his daughter that "Daddy's gotta go to work!" has been met with unanimous praise. It ultimately all comes down to charisma, and there's no question of a deficiency there.
