On that note, who's running Raw?

It was Shane McMahon, at least for a while, but he's retreated to SmackDown again since his feud with Roman Reigns ended. That's terribly convenient, although it doesn't explain at all why Shane was in charge of the red brand in the first place, or who is calling the shots in his stead.

When the McMahon family stood in the centre of the ring at the tail end of 2018 and claimed authority presence was a thing of the past, everyone cried bullsh*t. That ra-ra speech was easier to see through than the average window. Everyone knows WWE find it incredibly hard to write TV these days without some sort of boss figure there to justify what's happening.

That only makes it more confusing that Raw doesn't have one right now. The inmates run the asylum even though the insinuation was made on camera that Shane could do whatever the hell he pleased without repercussion. Post-Extreme Rules, that apparently only extends to Tuesday nights.
