Quick question - can you name the members of the Trustbusters?

No? Don't worry, nobody can.

Tony Khan should be given immense credit for always trying to build some sort of reason or attaching stakes to a match-up, but there are times when even he gets in his own way. All Elite Wrestling has shown over the last three years that having multiple stables an alliances can work in wrestling.

Whilst WWE has tended to shy away from them in recent years, AEW proved that an interconnected world can have its benefits, but sometimes things get thrown together and absolutely nobody cares. The formation of the Trustbusters is definitely one of those things.

Ari Daivari barely registered when he became #AllElite, Slim J has done next to nothing, and, despite all the potential in Parker Boudreaux, he's had such little in-ring time that he is nowhere near ready for a TV spot. All of this dominated an episode of Rampage, purely to try and fill a space in the Trios Tag Titles tournament, which, as we have seen with the WWE women's tag division, if you don't have enough teams, maybe don't do it then?

The Trustbusters have flailed on Dark and Dark: Elevation since that tourney and, most likely, won't be a pressing concern going forward.

Also, did you know Sonny Kiss turned heel and joined the stable? No? Don't worry, nobody did.
