Ring of Honor, whilst providing us with some great in-ring action, hasn't really been the success that Tony Khan imagined when he brought it in early-2022.

Clearly a passion purchase - and, let's be honest, a vanity one, too - it's no secret that AEW's product hasn't been as hot since the added distraction of an entirely separate company. That acquisition has flooded AEW programming with multiple belts, stripping the other titles of their worth, and Khan has had to dedicate time on his flagship show to build for ROH events due to that promotion having yet to secure a TV deal.

It's all a bit of a mess, which is apt, because so is the act featured in this entry.

The Embassy started off as Tully Blanchard Enterprises, with the former Pinnacle manager taking a new role within ROH and seemingly aligning with the long-forgotten Brian Cage. Add in the Gates of Agony tag team, and you had a meaty stable for when the brand took off.

ROH hasn't, and neither did TBE, as Blanchard swiftly left the company and Prince Nana apparently 'bought' the group, reforming The Embassy and looking to dominate Ring of Honor.

Last week, Brian Cage had a shot at the TNT Title - despite not being on AEW TV for over a year - and he lost. At Battle of the Belts this past weekend, the Gates of Agony challenged FTR for the ROH Tag Team Titles. They lost.

So this group is made up of losers? Great. Next.
