8. Athena Tells "Old Men" To Get Over Her Hard-Hitting Ways

In AEW and WWE alone fans have been treated to sickening performances from the likes of Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, Bryan Danielson, GUNTHER, and Sheamus over the last 12-months.

So, it's not difficult to understand why All Elite ass-kicker Athena is a little p*ssed off over the way she's been criticised of late on the back of some particularly brutal displays since turning heel.

In particular, the now-ROH Women's World Champion's explosive and stiff, but far from a shoot, work opposite Jody Threat on October 12's Dark: Elevation caught the eyes of many. Though it also led to a number of out of touch veteran figures classing Athena as unsafe and the pair's bout as being "ugly".

Highlighting the fact that stars like Mox and Le Champion are celebrated for hitting "the tar out of each other", the former WWE star would claim on Busted Open Radio that "I guarantee you if I was a man, I feel like there wouldn’t be as much backlash or anything like that."

Not stopping there, Athena would quite rightly tell the "old, bloated farts" to "get over it". And Athena hasn't looked back since that hard-hitting Threat performance, shocking the usually quiet Rampage crowd with her violent decking of Aubrey Edwards on November 18's Rampage, too.
