7. Ronda Rousey Is Just As Frustrated Over Surviver Series WarGames As You Are
In the wake of a bit of a lacklustre showing in-between the ropes from Ronda Rousey and Shotzi at Survivor Series WarGames, some disgruntled fans went as far as to make #FireRondaRousey a thing in the aftermath.
And while demanding a star be swiftly fired for her part in an in-ring misfire is a bit much, The Baddest Woman on the Planet did actually share a similar feeling of frustration heading out of the disappointing encounter.
Speaking on a YouTube live stream, Rousey would note how the two struggled to find time to rehearse the ultimately botched ring apron DDT spot that was actually her idea.
This, coupled with the fact that Ronda was focused on guiding her opponent down safely, eventually led to her making a mess of the move in the end. And the champ openly acknowledged the fact she "f***ed it up" during what was actually the first time she ever attempted said spot.
The match before the pair's going a little long, and the bouts that would follow not being able to sacrifice minutes also paved the way for Rousey and Shotzi's contest being cut down for time. And as Rousey herself would admit, it was a bit of a "bummer" that the rivals were eventually judged on what effectively only acted as the beginning of the match they originally had planned.
