10 Recent Wrestling Moments That Pissed Off Wrestlers
4. The Usos Topping The PWI 100 Doesn't Go Down Too Well
As with any list tasked with landing on who is the "best" wrestler of any given year, the eventual rankings served up will usually lead to a boatload of debate and conflict.
And the reaction to the latest instalment of Pro Wrestling Illustrated's annual Tag Team 100 was no different, with some of the greatest units on the planet not being entirely satisfied with their position once the rankings dropped in early December.
In particular, two of the most critically acclaimed forces to throw down during the 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2022 window the list was judged on in the form of FTR and The Briscoes, who ranked #2 and #3, respectively, let their frustrated feelings on the matter be known shortly after.
With WWE's Jimmy & Jey Uso taking the #1 spot, largely due to their record-breaking run as Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions sitting as arguably their greatest to date, Dax Harwood would claim that Paul Heyman must have wrote the issue because "this sh** FULL of lies." While Cash Wheeler actually congratulated the Ucey unit.
Elsewhere, Jay Briscoe defiantly stated on Twitter "Imagine if we weren’t banned from TV… Usos my ass."
And The Usos' response? "A lot of Salty ass tag teams out there huh??.. #WeTheOnes"
You love to see it.
