Sometimes things can getting a little heated in the thick of an emotionally charged showdown. And that was most certainly the case during the most recent WarGames epic on this year's Survivor Series PLE.

During said team war, Kevin Owens suddenly opted to let loose an unplanned shot to the mug of Roman Reigns, a piece of improvisation that would seemingly lead to an injured eardrum for The Tribal Chief.

And sure enough, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion wasn't exactly over the moon to be left reeling by this unexpected right to the face, with Reigns being said to have got heated backstage over the spot.

Yet, while Roman was evidently legitimately upset about the whole situation for a spell, with the star ultimately no-showing the post-PLE press conference, the entire thing had reportedly blown over 20 minutes after, with that same report noting how the pair eventually settled the issue on the night.

And even if the rivals weren't entirely over their Survivor Series drama, as suggested by some sources, the two clearly won't let any behind-the-scenes problems derail their on-screen work, with the adversaries very much continuing their main event programme into 2023.
