10 Recently Revealed WWE Ideas That Were Pitched And Went Nowhere

Hornswoggle did all sorts in WWE. He ran through a hole (and logic) that he spray-painted on the wall. He was Vince McMahon's illegitimate son but then was not and then was the son of Finlay. He amazingly was revealed to be the Anonymous Raw General Manager. Now, it’s been revealed recently a writer for WWE once pitched an idea for Vince McMahon to murder Hornswoggle as well.

Former WWE head writer Brian Gewirtz tweeted a photo of an old WWE booking sheet. The potential angle appearing to be from the illegitimate son storyline between Hornswoggle and the WWE Chairman back in 2007. The sheet, written by another writer, pitched Vince killing Hornswoggle. It read like this:-

"Hornswoggle Dilemma: Have Vince say to HS that we're going for a ride as Vince stuffs HS into a pillow case. Have a camera standing on a bridge and the audience sees Vince throw HS out the window of his limousine and over the bridge railing. HS plummets to his death. I know it's morbidly and highly unlikely ever to be used, but I think it's something that a fed up Mr. McMahon could resort to after trying for so long to get rid of him.’"

Gewirtz said Vince likely never heard the idea. This didn’t stop JBL replying to Gewirtz’s tweet shortly after with "can we still do this?"
