9. The Revival

The Revival's WWE main roster call-up seemed to be cursed from day one.

The team now known as FTR made a big splash the night after WrestleMania 33, defeating The New Day on Raw to a huge ovation from the travelling crowd.

Sadly, the good times didn't last for Dash and Dawson, as the former fractured his jaw at a house show in April. This injury put the Southern boys out of action for five weeks.

In July, The Revival made their triumphant return to TV, setting up a three-way feud with The Hardy Boyz and The O.C., but this time it was Scott Dawson who went down with an injury, rupturing a bicep in a tag match against The Bar. They finally got their careers on track in December 2017, but the damage had already been done.

All the momentum they had established with that amazing debut win had completely disappeared and it was rumoured that they had garnered a reputation of being unreliable workers. This put huge black marks against their names, which seriously prohibited future pushes.

Perhaps God is more a fan of flips than fists...
