It's strange to say but in the world of WWE, Shane McMahon is officially known as the "Best in the World." After subbing himself in for an injured Miz, Shane O'Mac defeated Dolph Ziggler to win the first-ever World Cup tournament at Crown Jewel. While his claim to the aforementioned title has proved controversial, there's no doubt that Shane is a veritable star in WWE.

Upon his return to the company in 2016, Shane found himself headlining WrestleMania against The Undertaker. Since then the forty-eight year-old boy wonder has captained a winning Survivor Series team, competed against AJ Styles at WrestleMania, and has taken part in the Greatest Royal Rumble. While he's not known as a mat technician or an overtly skilled purist, Shane garners attention any time he competes thanks to his explosive striking and his daredevil-like high-flying.

By no means would a match between McMahon and Rey Mysterio be a technical classic. However, it would surely be a thrilling and unique affair. Rey's legacy was built on innovative high-risk offense, but Shane McMahon may be the only competitor more willing to try anything -- even things Mysterio would never dare dream of.
