5. Wrestlemania XXVIII - Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan For The World Heavyweight Championship

When Sheamus won the Royal Rumble in 2012, he was given the choice of either champion in his headline spot at Wrestlemania XXVIII, at the Elimination Chamber he chose to face Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania for his World Heavyweight Championship. On the biggest stage of them all, WWE decided to treat their rising star poorly by having him lose to Sheamus in a staggering eighteen seconds. Bryan started the match by kissing AJ, his girlfriend at the time, but was then caught by a big boot from Sheamus which ended the match then and there. Not only is this a huge cop-out on one of the biggest matches on the card, it sent Daniel Bryan's career to the back of the queue for the sake of a cheap and easy PR stunt. Fans unanimously agree that Daniel Bryan at least deserved an actual match, if not to win it, further emphasized by Sheamus's subsequent run with the title which was one of the dullest in recent WWE history.
