10 Roster Moves WWE Must Make After SummerSlam 2017

8. Gallows & Anderson To SmackDown

Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows have once again fallen to the foot of the tag team totem pole. The former Raw Tag Champions have been overtaken by The Hardy Boyz and Revival in the contendership ranks, and another reign seems unlikely. They've not been involved in a featured feud since losing the gold at WrestleMania 33, and with each of the division's top teams currently preoccupied, that won't be changing anytime soon.

The Club need something new. Having spent their past couple of appearances quietly working as babyfaces, moving them over to SmackDown for a potential reunion with AJ Styles makes sense. They don't need to be a full-on stable, but re-establishing this connection would surely increase Gallows & Anderson's screentime, allowing them to advance their characters beyond "guys who say 'nerd' a lot".

SmackDown's tag division is currently rebounding following The New Day's arrival, but the show could still use another team or two, particularly outside the immediate title picture. Having not faced any of the brand's teams since last year, Gallows & Anderson would bring a fresh set of potential feuds, preventing staleness from settling in over the division again.
