10 Roster Moves WWE Must Make After SummerSlam 2017

7. Tye Dillinger To NXT

Perhaps it's premature to talk about sending Tye Dillinger back to NXT. 'The Perfect 10' only joined the main roster in April, and made a straightforward start to life as a SmackDown superstar, squashing Curt Hawkins and Aiden English in his first few weeks. He has scarcely been used since then however, working just four televised matches in the past three months, and falling to English in a dismal Battleground Kickoff Show match.

WWE don't seem to know what to do with Dillinger on the main roster. The English feud was totally forgettable, but his entire run would've been directionless without it. Now, he's in real danger of getting lost at sea on the crowded blue brand, which does his (admittedly falling) popularity a big disservice.

Going back to NXT might seem like a relegation, but Dillinger would at least feel important again. He was one of the developmental brand's most popular wrestlers prior to hitting the main roster, and while Full Sail University's complexion has changed immensely this year, there's little reason to believe he wouldn't succeed again. Regardless, he'd almost certainly be utilised more effectively than he is at the moment.
