10 Ruthless Aggression Era WWE Superstars You Totally Don't Remember

6. Colin Delaney

Keep in mind who was calling the shots when Colin Delaney waltzed onto ECW programming in late-2007. Sure, Vince McMahon probs paid little attention to the third brand, but his vision for Paul Heyman's promotion was always going to be a ceiling for our Colin. He didn't have a prayer of making a splash on Raw or SmackDown, realistically.

Delaney looked for all the world like the kind of indy worker you'd expect to see pop up for a few weeks on episodes of AEW Rampage. No, that's not meant as a compliment. He's inarguably the least Vinnie Mac pro wrestler on this list, and that's saying something. Colin tried his best, but he had a limited shelf life in WWE.

The company had released him by August 2008.

Technically, that means Delaney crossed different eras - he lived the tail end of Ruthless Aggression, then experienced the sweeping switch to a PG format. Even turning heel couldn't save Colin's skin in the end. WWE discarded him and most forgot he'd ever worked there.
