10 Ruthless Aggression WWE Superstars You Forgot Existed

6. Colin Delaney

Introduced as a jobber on the ECW brand, Colin Delaney soon found himself tagging with Tommy Dreamer, and WWE really played into the fact that this Light Heavyweight was a weedy rookie who was forever the underdog. Back in 2007/08, Vince McMahon was more image-obsessed than ever, so he was never going to be a big star in the company.

Released due to budget cuts, it's fair to say that Delaney would have been beyond forgotten had things ended for him there. However, he spent years cutting his teeth on the independent circuit, and finally made his way back to WWE in 2017... as a jobber (losing to The Bludgeon Brothers).

Some appearances on 205 Live followed, but even with an improved appearance, he's clearly still not someone WWE takes seriously. On the plus side, things are looking up for him as Delaney has since shown up an AEW Dark, but as part of the Ruthless Aggression era, he's definitely not someone who made anything more than a surface impact during the tail end of that period.
