10 Saving Graces Of WWE Programming In 2017

3. The Miz

Similar to The Usos, it's really quite amazing that The Miz has been able to completely reinvent himself even at this point in his career. After being the talk of the town at the end of 2016 following his famous tirade on Talking Smack, he remained at the top of his game in 2017 as well through feuds with John Cena, Dean Ambrose, Jason Jordan and The Shield.

Fans worried he would be moved down the card when he was transferred from Raw to SmackDown Live in the Superstar Shake-up, but Miz made the most of the move and soon recaptured the Intercontinental Championship for a seventh time.

Even though Maryse was forced to take time off due to her pregnancy, the addition of The Miztourage to his act ensured he would stay champion until November. Being a hated heel is a lost art nowadays, but Miz perfected that technique in 2017 and got everyone buzzing about everything he was involved in.

Don't believe me? Watch his segment with LaVar Ball from June. What should have been a total train wreck became must-see TV, thanks to Miz.
