10 Saving Graces Of WWE Programming In 2017

4. The Usos

The Usos have been a part of WWE's main event for seven and a half years and haven't taken much time off at all, yet the best year of their career by far was 2017. How incredible is that?

Their heel turn at the tail-end of 2016 was the greatest thing that could have happened to them and led to them clinching the SmackDown Tag Team Championship shortly before WrestleMania 33. Some thought it couldn't get much better than their series of matches with American Alpha, yet they continued to raise the bar with Breezango and The New Day over the next several months.

At the beginning of the Brand Split, SmackDown Live's tag team division couldn't have been more lifeless, but it has recently experienced a resurgence thanks to The Usos. They have always been excellent athletes, but it was their character work throughout 2017 that made them such a dynamic duo and one of the hottest acts in the entire organization.

The Usos pretty much made SmackDown bearable during the Jinder Mahal reign of terror in the latter half of 2017, so perhaps they can do the same for Raw if they make the move to Monday nights later this year.
