10 Second Generation WWE Stars Who Totally Failed
7. Ted DiBiase, Jr.
Out of all the wrestlers featured on this list, Ted DiBiase, Jr was perhaps the one whose failure came as most of a surprise. The guy seemed to be well on his way to becoming a main event star prior to WrestleMania XXVI.
It was at that point that he broke away from Legacy, a stable he had formed with fellow second-generation stars Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, and embarked on a singles career that failed to ever really take off.
Like his father, Ted DiBiase, Sr., he did get a bit of joy out of The Million Dollar Championship, the made-up title belt he carried for more than seven months between April and November 2010.
But his limitations in the ring, coupled with the fact that were far more well-rounded up-and-comers of the same age or younger (not least of all Cody Rhodes himself) saw that his opportunities to hold any real titles were limited. He eventually left the company, and the industry altogether, in 2013.
