10 Secret Wrestling Messages You Could Hear

3. Randy Orton

WWE

Likely the most known and infamous entry on this list, Randy Orton verbally slamming Kofi Kingston as "stupid" back in 2009 was something WWE nicely utilised in the pair's renewed rivalry in the second half of 2019.

With Kofi the WWE Champion at that point in '19, Randal Keith found himself up next to challenge for Kingston's prize after Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, Samoa Joe and AJ Styles had all been unsuccessful in their attempts to dethrone the New Day member. Much like those other names, Orton's title shots at that year's SummerSlam and Night and Clash of Champions PPVs saw the Viper come up short.

A decade prior, Orton vs. Kingston had a different outcome, with Randy picking up a relatively easy W which set him up for a match against then-WWE Champion Sheamus. It's during the close of that Raw match where the third generation star loudly, angrily shouts at Kofi for being "stupid" after hitting him with an RKO.

Of course, there was a little more than just the "stupid" line here, with Orton spouting plentiful other abuse in Kingston's direction - including noting how Kofi had "f**ked up".

How did Kofi Kingston f**k up here? Why, that's because he was supposed to stay down and be hit with the Evolution alumnus' patented Punk Kick to end the match. Instead, Kofi seemingly forgot this and got to his feet to take the RKO.
