10 Serious Problems With WWE Right Now

5. Too Much McMahon Drama

When Vince McMahon first became WWE's top heel in early 1998, it was a revelation. Two years later, when Vince, Shane, Stephanie, and Linda were all regular characters on television, it became completely off-putting. More than 15 years later, the McMahons still haven't learned their lesson.

The road to WrestleMania and the show itself were polluted by The Authority of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, as well as Shane McMahon being booked as The Undertaker's equal. HHH left after WrestleMania, but Shane and Stephanie stuck around, first feuding with each other, then leading separate brands.

Shane, to be fair, has been used sparingly and well on Smackdown. Stephanie, though, is still all over Raw, often being made to look strong at the talent's expense. Triple H has only made a single appearance in the past several months, but it was to help Kevin Owens win the Universal Title, kick-starting a program with Seth Rollins and stealing Owens's moment. Soon enough, HHH will be back full time for the soul-draining Rollins feud.
