10 Shocking Backstage Incidents Involving WWE's Creative Team

5. The Allure Of The Divas Proves Too Much For One Writer

One of the creepier tales to emerge from WWE creative is the case of 'the stalker'. Bryan Alvarez of f4wonline.com was the man to blow the lid off this story. We can't be certain who the culprit was, but Alvarez reported in a 2004 edition of his newsletter that a WWE writer had been let go for pestering the Divas. The writer hadn't been with WWE that long. When he joined the company, he had received the contact details of all the WWE divas, with the idea that it'd help him sculpt the women's storylines. However, the writer abused this power. He barraged the divas with constant phone calls and emails, going so far as to ring the girls during the middle of the night. Bizarrely, many of his calls weren't even related to wrestling. It wasn't long before complaints were made, ultimately leading to the writer getting kicked out of the company.
