10 Shocking Behind The Scenes Stories WCW Didn’t Want You To Know

5. Bobby Heenan’s Bathroom Story

Years ago, The Miz revealed that he had to use the same public restrooms as WWE fans because he was barred from the locker room by his fellow pros. Such ridiculous ribbing can be viewed as someone "paying their dues" in the industry, and it usually only happens/happened to newbies.

Bobby Heenan was not a newbie.

The 'Brain' once said during an 2003 shoot interview (for 'The Interactive Interview', which no longer has a website) that WCW made its announcers use the same bathrooms as fans. In fact, Heenan claimed he had to get dressed in a cubicle rather than a proper dressing room with the rest of the roster.

If true, that's astonishing. Surely it wouldn't have been hard for WCW to secure a little room backstage for the commentary team to prep in. Someone needs to ask Eric Bischoff to clarify this on his podcast, because it just sounds so embarrassing and unnecessary.
