8. Jerry Lawler Thinks Dolph Ziggler's Elbow Drops Caused His Heart To Stop Beating
Few will ever forget the night Jerry Lawler suddenly collapsed at the announce desk on an edition of Monday Night Raw back in September 2012.
The King had just finished off working alongside Randy Orton in a tag bout against CM Punk & Dolph Ziggler when Michael Cole noticed the sound of his co-commentator snoring alongside him. Quickly spotting something was up, Cole called for assistance and Lawler was soon rushed out of the arena, with it later being revealed that Lawler had suffered cardiac arrest and reported that he was actually clinically dead for around 20-minutes.
But why did this shocking incident happen in the first place?
Well, Lawler has his own theory on the matter.
According to the veteran when appearing on Raw Talk this year, Ziggler's ten elbows to his chest during their match on that fateful night were responsible for the trauma that ultimately caused his heart to stop.
