10 Shocking Returns That Could Happen At WWE Night Of Champions

10. The Undertaker

The Deadman hasn€™t been seen in WWE in more than five months, although his name is invoked regularly €“ just not in a positive light. Paul Heyman has made sure fans remember that Brock Lesnar is the one who is responsible for The Undertaker being 21-1 at WrestleMania. That€™s not exactly the kind of legacy Taker would want to leave behind. And while Undertaker these days is usually a creature of WrestleMania, returning only around/after the Royal Rumble, this would be an interesting time to stage a return. Until recently, questions were flying about how WWE could have Lesnar as its World Heavyweight Champion on such a severely part-time schedule, leading people to think that he could lose the title to Cena at Night of Champions. Now that the situation appears to be resolved, it looks a little more solid that Lesnar will retain and march toward WrestleMania XXXI, dominating all the way. But if WWE wanted to add an air of intrigue, all you€™d have to do is have Undertaker€™s gong go off during the match. Think about Lesnar€™s reaction (and Heyman practically wetting himself). It€™s one time where a wrestler being distracted by another superstar€™s entrance music actually would make sense. Cena sneaks up from behind, hits and Attitude Adjustment and covers€ Does Cena win? Does Lesnar kick out and continue dominating? For that one moment, fans would be in utter shock. And it would signal that Taker isn€™t quite dead yet.

Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
