10 Shocking Returns That Could Happen At WWE Night Of Champions
5. Daniel Bryan
WWE has done a nice job keeping Daniel Bryans name in the hearts and minds of fans during his injury. Typically, WWE lets someone who is out with an injury disappear without a trace, making their eventual return a surprise and a big deal. But with Bryan, WWE has cast his wife Brie Bella as his stand-in in the struggle against The Authority. This allows the battle to continue and keep the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion on peoples minds. So why not bring DB back for a spot appearance? He made an appearance at the Money in the Bank PPV pre-show in June, but he could easily step back in to help Brie in some way, perhaps by keeping Triple H at bay. Its highly unlikely that we will see Bryan until the storyline demands it, or hes actually ready to return to the ring. Unless theres a lot of movement in the storyline during the next two weeks, this will just be wishful thinking for fans who want to chant Yes! along with their hero.
