10 Shocking Wrestling Moments That’d Rock 2021

6. NXT Alumni Infiltrate AEW

Johnny Gargano Takeover Punisher
WWE Network

AEW hardcores will point to the friendlier nature of business under Tony Khan as a solid reason why nobody would leave the place. The truth is that somebody will be the first to look big T in the eye and say, "Thanks, but no thanks" before jetting off to put pen to paper on a WWE deal.

Of course, workers will go the other way too.

They already have, and it seems ludicrous to imagine someone won't make the leap in 2021. Who though? This guy's money is on someone from NXT - someone slightly overlooked who is happy-ish but dreams of doing more in a place where they, not some band of writers, can come up with their own sh*t.

Johnny Gargano is a solid fantasy pick, for example. If talent of that level become available, then AEW would be foolish not to snap them up. Cries of 'too much WWE alumni', be damned.
