10 Shocking Wrestling Moments That’d Rock 2021

3. Chris Jericho Comes "Home"

Chris Jericho is the master of reinvention.

He's been shocking the world since 1999, and he might have one more big trick left in his playbook. Anyone who reads this and thinks, 'That'll never happen' obviously wasn't paying attention when Jericho left Vince for New Japan glory and lit the fuse that created literal AEW Dynamite. Nobody saw that one coming either.

Jericho could've coasted for years as a WWE legend who popped back in for WrestleMania paydays and the odd Royal Rumble berth. He chose not to though, because he wanted to earn even more cool points from a non-WWE crowd, or impress old 'Jerichoholics' enough that they'd follow him to All Elite.

That audience is still there, and it's waiting to empty wallets at the mere suggestion of any 'Y2J Comeback Tour' t-shirts. A smart businessman like Jericho will know that, and he also knows how much drama he'd cause by returning to WWE.

It'll "never happen", eh?
