10 Shocks WWE Could Pull At Royal Rumble 2020
3. The Women's Rumble Headlines
Whether WWE want to admit it or not, they are diluting the Rumble concept by booking two of them on the same card. Last year, the show felt far too busy, and people were a bit burned out by the time the men headlined with their Rumble effort.
If turn about is indeed fair play, then it'll be the women's turn to feel that pressure.
WWE wouldn't be breaking new ground here (the first 30-woman Rumble main evented in 2018), but they would be able to book a massive show-ending moment for someone. Shayna Baszler, perhaps. She'd benefit from the spotlight, and it'd mean more if the cameras faded out as she and a vengeful Becky Lynch brawled through the crowd.
Still, it'd be a surprise if the women's Rumble went on last. WWE may decide not to give the bout another turn as final match, and close out with the men's Rumble or a World Title showdown instead.
