John Cena once again features on this list, this time with his 14-day possession of the WWE title from back in 2009. The reign began at Night of Champions when Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio via submission. On an interesting and rare side note, Cenas WWE Championship wasnt even the main event that night. The final match of the evening was in fact Triple H vs. CM Punksomething of a contradiction given the shows name. As for Cenas tenure as champion though, that was halted when Del Rio regained the title at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. In Cenas defence though, he was in fact locked out of the cell at the time of Del Rios victory. Im not sure whats more surprising here thoughthe fact that Cena only held the belt for 14 days, or the fact that the WWE managed to squash two PPVs into the same timeframe.
