Time: 9 minutes, 7 seconds.

Best known for staging The Undertaker’s WWE debut and the Gobbledy Gooker’s infamous hatching, Survivor Series 1990 produced one of the shortest main events in WWE history.

Wrestling fans have rightly come to expect epic, 30+ minute elimination matches at Survivor Series. The sheer volume of participants makes it difficult to tell a cohesive stories in anything less than that, though the early PPVs were full of shorter, snappier matches.

This one isn’t the shortest Survivor Series elimination match of all-time, but it’s not far off. Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, and Tito Santana faced-off against Ted DiBiase, Rick Martel, The Warlord, and Power and Glory. It was a three-on-five affair pitting all survivors from the night’s previous matches against each other, and the first elimination came after just 28 seconds.

Surprise, surprise, Hogan’s team ran-out winners. He and Warrior were the match’s sole survivors despite their numerical disadvantage, with the babyfaces eliminating four straight heels to complete their “epic” comeback. It was a relatively forgettable affair, and only worth watching if you enjoy the sight of Hogan and Warrior smashing a bunch of midcarders.
