Time: 8 minutes, 15 seconds.

Judgment Day 2007 came in the midst of a brutal John Cena/Great Khali feud that saw the giant ambush Cena from behind, then defeat Shawn Michaels in a number one contendership match. The were promptly booked in a WWE Championship main event on a card that also featured a lacklustre World Heavyweight Championship match between Edge and Batista, and it went exactly how you’d expect a Khali vs. Cena match to go.

Khali brought his usual slow, clubbing offence to the table. He splattered the champion with clotheslines and leg drops, and completely dominated Cena from bell-to-bell. Cena was at the height of his Superman spell by this point, however, and after nailing just three moves on Khali for the whole match, Cena forced his submission with an STFU at 8 minutes and 15 seconds.

Nobody really wants to watch Khali wrestle for another longer than that, but the match was still a struggle. Cena vs. Khali provided a disappointing end to a PPV low on highlights, and it did little to put either man over.
