10 Shots WWE Fired At Wrestlers (That You Didn't Notice)

1. Savage!

This one was extremely easy to miss at the time and remains something of a great forgotten shoot, despite the fact that it exists in full on the WWE Network.

Ahead of addressing the storyline collapse of his friendship with Crush later that night, Randy Savage - almost entirely at random - took aim at his real life one with Hulk Hogan.

It's all there in the video above, and is a must-watch in spite of the thumbnail only promising a match between Mike Sharpe and Tatanka.

Referring to Hogan as a "backstabber" and a "primadonna" in a minutes-long rant at his former friend, Savage reiterates remarks he'd made on the largely forgotten Radio WWF the weekend prior to ensure the jabs had the best possible chance of landing. It being the real side of pretend pro wrestling, the drama was better than the payoff - Hogan largely no-sold the barrage and the two made amends within a year so they could go and make brand new money from Ted Turner and WCW. This oft-ignored chapter remains one of the highlights of their tumultuous tenure.
