10 Shots WWE Fired At Wrestlers (That You Didn't Notice)

9. Authors Of Painful Patter

On the 2 December 2019 edition of Raw, a recently-returned Authors Of Pain were caught arriving for the show by regular red brand correspondent Charly Caruso. Chasing an explanation for their attack on Kevin Owens a week prior, Caruso could only get her answer in AOP's native Albanian and Punjabi tongues.

Upon asking for something in English, the only response forthcoming was the rather condescending "Charly... you look lovely tonight".

Was this a prod in Dave Meltzer's direction?

Just a week earlier, some comments he'd made regarding Caruso being "young and cute" were taken partially out of context by salivating Twitter hordes to the point at which Caruso herself was moved to respond online.

Six days on from that spat, and a talent was scripted to comment only on her looks rather than her line of questioning? There's clearly a writer or executive who remains a keen observer of wrestling outside of WWE's iron-clad bubble.
