10 Sickest WWE Injuries Of 2014

3. Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan has certainly had one rollercoaster of a year. He began the year as seemingly an afterthought in WWE€™s eyes, but ended up beating Triple H and then Batistia and Randy Orton all in one night to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. It should have been the start of Bryan€™s best year ever, but shortly after his big win it seemed like there was a new misfortune or tragedy cropping up every day. Daniel Bryan received word that his father had died while he was still on his honeymoon, and days later, arguably his biggest fan, Conor Michalek, passed away as well. On May 12, Bryan announced to the fans that he needed neck surgery immediately, and it was unknown how long he€™d be gone for. He was stripped of his WWE World Heavyweight Championship a month later, and it was revealed that Bryan would need additional surgery. Now, Daniel Bryan has been out for six months and there€™s no set timetable for his return. Most recently, Bryan stated he€™d like to be back for January, which would be in time for the Royal Rumble, but make sure to be clear that no-one knows exactly when he€™ll back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SJ8FwPCQOg
