10 Signs That WrestleMania 36 Could Be A Crushing Disappointment

9. Goldberg Is Thrashed

Goldberg's win over The Fiend at Super ShowDown was comically bad.

It was piss-funny, because people took to pitying a supernatural monster (!) and those people will cheer Vince McMahon the next time he does his next "We'll get better!" rah-rah speech on RAW when ratings tank.

The long-term principle behind the decision was disastrous, obviously, but Goldberg went over because he's a bigger draw in the short-term. This is even more myopic than that, because it's not as if him doing the job for Roman Reigns is going to make any difference. WWE has been trying to strap Roman Reigns as the tippy-top guy for five years now. It's not going to happen.

And it's definitely not going to happen with this vehicle because this match is going to suck sh*t.

Goldberg embraced the Fiend more than he Speared him. Perhaps he has an r/SquaredCircle burner account and this was his way of saying 'Can't believe it they've killed your push wanna run to u'.

Goldberg didn't have the snap nor the force to pull off an effective squash match, and the last time he wrestled for longer than three minutes, he endangered another man's life. The contrarians might come out to bury the whole thing, even if it's pretty good.

This is going to blow more than Goldberg blows out of his ass.
